• Took first place with a PR at the Winrow-Valparaiso Open, running a 17:59.5 in the 6k
• Clocked a PR time of 24:34.6 in the 5 mile in the National Catholic Invitational
• Recorded a PR of 24:11.2 in the 8k at the ACC Cross Country Championships

AS A FRESHMAN (2022-23)

• Won the 800 at the Jack Shaw Invitational (1:53.20)
• Posted two PRs at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational (2:02.00 in the 800 and 4:17.96 in the mile)

PREP AND PERSONAL

• School record holder and holds PR’s in 800 (1:52.32), 1600 (4:10.35), 3200 (8:57.80), and 5k (15:00.0) in cross country.
• 2nd All-Time in Nebraska for 3200 and 1600, 7th all-time in 800
• Is a 6 time State Champion in Track and Cross Country, is a NXR Heartland Champion, a Eastbay National Cross Country Championship Qualifier.
• Named the 2021 Nebraska Gatorade Cross Country POY, and the 2021 Nebraska Gatorade Track and Field POY
• Majoring in Electrical Engineering
• Son of Steve and Kathy Hinrichs
• Has two sisters, Kylie and Kacie
• Sister Kylie plays women’s soccer at Washburn University
