AZUSA, Calif. – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish sent four student-athletes to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific University April 11-13.
Competing in the steeplechase for the first time this season, CJ Singleton finished 10th with a time of 8:33.60, recording a PR in the event and setting a Notre Dame school record while punching his regional qualifying ticket. He currently leads the ACC and is fifth in the NCAA. He was followed by Tom Seitzer, who ran an 8:59.76 in the event.
Ethan Coleman recorded a PR in the men’s 10k with a time of 28:29.29, finishing 8th in the event. Carter Solomon finished 23rd as he ran a 13:44.95 in the men’s 5k and currently ranks fourth in the ACC.
