SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Notre Dame graduate student and recent Irish blueliner, Ryan Siedem has signed his first professional contract with the Hartford Wolfpack of the American Hockey League, as announced by the club Tuesday morning. Siedem signed with the team for the 2024-25 season and will report to Hartford on an ATO for the remainder of this season.
“I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to play hockey at Notre Dame,” Siedem said. “I can’t thank the coaches, all the staff, and my teammates enough for making it such a great year.”
Siedem joined the Irish defensive corp prior to the 2023-24 season after four years at Harvard. Appearing in all 36 games for the Irish this past year, Siedem posted a career-best 20 points and led the team in assists with 17. The blueliner also ranked among the nation’s best defensively in puck retrievals and defensive zone exits.
He closed out his collegiate career with 135 games played and 65 points with 10 goals and 55 assists.
“With that said, I’m super excited to move on and begin my professional career,” Siedem added.
