AS A FRESHMAN:

Posted a 2-2 record at her collegiate debut tournament, the Elite Invitational at Ohio State.
At the DeCicco Duals, she posted an undefeated 3-0 record against Florida and Denver on the first day of competition. On day two of competition Apelian went 10-0.
In her first year of collegiate fencing Apelian put together a dominating 23-5 record.
