Garron Lucius Staff

Garron Lucius joined the University of Notre Dame Athletics department in June 2023 and currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities.

In his current role, Lucius oversees facility operations in Athletics, including Football, Joyce Center, Olympic Quad, Boathouse, Golf Facilities and Community Facilities and management of the facilities operations teams assigned to these athletic facilities. His oversight includes the planning, maintenance, development and management of comprehensive renewal plans for all faciltiies. Lucius works closely with campus partners to ensure comprehensive execution of plans in all aspects of campus services, grounds, housekeeping, security and risk management ultimately ensuring safe and secure practice and competition venues for student-athletes, coaches, staff and guests. In addition Lucius engages with master planning for projects, renovations and new construction for athletics facilities.

Prior to his role in Facilities at Notre Dame, Lucius was the Associate Athletic Director at University of West Florida from 2017-2023 and Assistant Athletic Director for Game Operations and Events at Grand Valley State University from 2014-2017.

Lucius is actively involved with National Organization-Collegiate Event and Facilities Management Association (CEFMA) serving on the Board of Directors since 2022.

Lucius a naitive of Flint, Michigan, where he graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2009. He was a four year student/athlete on the men’s track and field team. Lucius pursued and graduated in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in College Personnel Administration from West Florida.
