Thomas Whowell 2022-23 Swimming and Diving Roster

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023-24)

• Went a best time in the 200 free at the Ohio State Winter Invite (1:39.84) and placed sixth. Also went season bests in the 50 (20.79) and 100 free (46.08)
• At the Tim Welsh Classic, competed in the 50 free (21.54), 100 free (46.61), 200 free (1:42.17), 200 free relay and the 200 medley relay.
• Competed in the 100 fly (51.57) and three relays against Princeton and Navy
• Swam the 50 free (21.54), 100 free (46.86) and two relays against Pitt and Penn State
• Competed in the 50 (21.28) and 100 free (47.44) against Purdue

AS A FRESHMAN (2022-23)

• Competed in six meets as a rookie
• Posted three personal bests at the Ohio State Winter Invite to wrap up his season. Placed sixth in the 50 free (20.73), sixth in the 100 free (45.79) and eighth in the 100 fly (49.95)

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Swam for Schroeder YMCA
• Son of Tom and Shawn Whowell; has one sister, Sailor
• Father, aunt and uncle swam at Notre Dame
• Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business with a double major in accountancy and finance
