Michael Flynn 2022-23 Swimming and Diving Roster

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023-24)

• Went two best times at the 2024 ACC Championships in the 100 breast (54.08) and 400 IM (3:51.42). Finished 24th in the 400 IM and also took 25th in the 200 breast with a time of 1:58.00
• At the Tim Welsh Classic, placed fifth in the 200 breast (1:59.72) and swam the 400 IM (3:58.92). Also helped place in the 200 free relay, 400 medley relay, and the 400 free relay.
• Swam six events against Princeton and Navy — 100 breast (55.76, placed fifth), 200 breast (2:03.44, placed 11th) and four relays
• Earned a U.S. Open cut in the 200 breast at the Ohio State Fall Invitational (1:57.98), taking 21st place. Also finished 15th in the 100 breast (54.64) and 28th in the 200 IM (1:49.70). Posted a best time in the 100 fly (52.64)
• Took sixth in the 100 breast (56.89) and seventh in the 200 breast (2:06.95) against Louisville
• Swam seven events against Pitt and Penn State — 100 breast (placed eighth, 55.71), 200 breast (placed fifth, 2:01.42), 400 IM (4:05.61) and two relays
• Finished fifth in the 100 (56.43) and 200 breast (2:04.83) against Purdue. Was also on the 200 medley relay (swimming breast) that finished third and the 400 free relay that took fifth
• Took sixth in the 100 breaststroke (56.37) and 200 breaststroke (2:03.82) against Wisconsin

• 100 breast (54.98) and 200 breast (2:00.86) B finalist at the Ohio State Invitational

• Two-time IHSA State Champion (200 and 500 free)
• 12x All-American
• 2022 Fenwick High School Athlete of the Year
• Swam for FMC Aquatics
• Majoring in business analytics with a minor in real estate
• Son of Dan and Mary Flynn; has one sister, Hannah
• Grandfather attended Notre Dame and lived in Sorin Hall
