SOUTH BEND – Doug & Lisa Jones Family Notre Dame Women’s Soccer Head Coach Nate Norman added some veteran depth to the 2024 squad with the additions of grad transfers Katherine Montgomery and Reagen Pauwels.
“Bringing in two quality veteran players adds not only skill and depth to next year’s team but also invaluable experience and leadership. Reagan’s and Katherine’s presence will elevate our game both on and off the field,” Coach Norman said.
Montgomery is a 5-7 goalkeeper hailing from Geneva, Illinois. She spent the last four seasons at Missouri State where she racked up over 2,205 minutes in net. She played in 29 games and recorded a GAA of 1.14. She boasts a career save percentage of 0.788 and has collected nine career shutouts.
Pauwels spent the last four seasons at Cornell. The 5-6 midfielder from Wall, New Jersey made 26 starts over the last two years. Pauwels was a Second Team All-Ivy selection in 2022 when she scored back-to-back game-winning goals in the final two regular season games.
Pauwels tallied eight assists in 2023. Her six assists were tied for the fifth most by a Cornell player in a single season.
