Chris Rolfe enters his sixth season heading into the 2024 fall campaign as Notre Dame’s director of soccer operations.
The University of Notre Dame men’s soccer head coach Chad Riley announced the hiring of Chris Rolfe as the program’s director of operations in the summer of 2019.
Rolfe joined the Notre Dame staff after a successful 12-year professional career that included stops in the MLS and Danish Superliga.
Rolfe earned 230 caps in the MLS, 178 of which came with the Chicago Fire. The forward scored 71 goals in his MLS career; earning four club Golden Boots (2005, 2008, 2012 – Chicago Fire; 2015 – D.C. United),
Rolfe also made 10 appearances with the United States Men’s National Team from 2005-09.
Rolfe is a 2017 graduate of Dayton University, earning a degree in finance. Rolfe served as a volunteer assistant coach with the University of Denver women’s soccer program in 2018.
