Irish Earn Two Grand Final Victories At Lubbers Cup

The University of Notre Dame women’s rowing team took part in the 2024 Lubbers Cup Regatta in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday, April 6. Notre Dame’s top three boats are also competing in the preliminary heats of the 2024 San Diego Crew Classic on Saturday.  

At the Lubbers Cup, Notre Dame’s two eight-seat boats claimed victories in their respective Grand Final races while the two four-seat boats finished second and third in their final race. 

First Varsity Eight – Grand Rapids

On the west coast, the Irish claimed three third-place finishes in the Saturday heats at the San Diego Crew Classic, setting up final races on Sunday. All three finals will take place between 9:58 a.m. and 10:14 a.m. PT tomorrow morning.
